We have just successfully released this beautiful barred owl. She was admitted mid December 2016 after being hit by two cars, tossed into a ditch and then mobbed by crows. Brought to the CWRC by DNR. She had signs of head trauma, but no serious injuries or broken bones.
Upon being returned to her territory, she took off immediately after the carrier door was opened, flying silently into the night.
