Exciting news! We've launched our Wildlife Supporter programme that allows you to support patients currently in care. By becoming a Wildlife Supporter through our online store, you help us to provide essential care to injured and orphaned wildlife in Nova Scotia.
Partnership: Artist Rebecca Daphne Hill
Rebecca Hill is a visual artist & designer in her creative business Glowbug Design & Illustrations. Originally from Scotland, the magical forests often featured in her work are inspired from the woods around her childhood home and the woods surrounding Truro, Nova Scotia. They are a beautiful bond from her from her roots to her present life.
Mainly working from references photos taken locally, she finds incredible beauty right on our doorstep, looking for connection, contrast a story and an element of magic.
Her art seeks to capture the limitless imagination hushed from childhood, and to invite the viewer to reignite their own curiosity, sense of wonder, and expression of their true colours.
We reached out to Rebecca after seeing her work at a craft fair in Hilden and the collaboration began there. When Rebecca Hill's products are sold through the CWRC store, 80% of proceeds directly supports the work of the CWRC and 20% of the proceeds directly supports the work of the artist.
