Securing Our Forever Home GoFundMe Campaign
The Cobequid Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is a place where the wild things heal. For the past 22 years, the dedicated volunteers and staff of the centre have saved the lives of thousands of injured and orphaned wild animals and returned them safely to the wild. Our goal for the centre is to continue that work and to create a strong community, centered around wildlife in need of our help. To reach this goal we have initiated the “Where the Wild Things Heal - Securing Our Forever Home” GoFundMe campaign to raise the funds needed to secure the property where the CWRC is located and take the next leap in delivering on our mission.
The additional space will allow us to:

Create new opportunities to serve the community and provide care to more wildlife.

We can repurpose space to improve our medical facilities.

Provide a dedicated space for training new volunteers.

Provide space for pre-vet and veterinary technician students to stay on-site while receiving hands-on experience with wild animals.

Allow us to host community information sessions about wildlife.
