Who Says a Silent Auction Needs to be Quiet?

Updated: Jul 29, 2021

We at the CWRC are excited to announce we will be holding our first ever digital silent auction! Starting on July 29th and ending on August 29th the CWRC will have two original paintings up for auction on Bidding Owl. The two pieces were generously donated by local artist and CWRC supporter Lorraine Gaudet, and we think you will love them just as much as we do!

Grey Wolf

Acrylic on Canvas

Black Floater Frame

Retail Value: $260.00

Acrylic on Rock

1 . 72 kg

Lorraine retired from teaching in Halifax in 2014 and shortly after discovered a passion for painting. Since embracing her artistic side she has poured herself into her work, and has already sold upwards of 130 original pieces. If you would like to see more of her art, check out Lorraine’s website.

All proceeds raised from the auction will go directly towards funding the CWRC and its mission to provide veterinary care and rehabilitation to sick, injured and orphaned wildlife.

Click here to go to the auction, and help us find new homes for these two owlsome pieces!
