About Us
Cobequid Wildlife has been helping injured and orphaned wild animals in Nova Scotia for over 25 years.
Our special expertise rehabilitating birds of prey like eagles, hawks, and owls, has earned international recognition. We are proud to be home to "The Flyway", a custom designed continuous flight centre for large raptors. The flyway is one of only a handful of similar facilities in North America.
We are fully permitted to rehabilitate all bird species, amphibians, reptiles, and some small mammals.
Cobequid Wildlife is a registered Canadian Charity and our work depends on public support.
Here at Cobequid Wildlife, our primary focus is on the well-being of recouperating animals. The animals in our care are truly wild and they find the presence of people stressful. To ensure that animals are as comfortable as possible, we minimize human interactions and are not open to the public.
We do our best to bring you stories, photos and videos of animal patients. We are committed to inspiring people to care for the natural world and share loads of helpful information and incredible stories on social media, our newsletter and our website.
