Urgent Need - Avian Flu Quarantine Structure
Did you know that all our feathered intakes have to go through a very specialized intake process due to Avian Influenza (AI)? They need to start their rehabilitation in a quarantine area before they are able to be moved into the larger enclosures or nursery.
What do we need?
We need to expand our quarantine space ASAP. This quarantine unit is urgent. We need a separate on-site building to help our native wildlife. Baby season will soon be upon us, and this isolation building is crucial.
We have our sights set on an 8x10x10 mobile building that will suit our current isolation needs and can also be used as a much-needed additional workspace and to house animals well into the future as well.
What do the funds cover?
The $7,000 covers purchase, delivery and placement of the building and the gravel and pavers to create a pad for placement.
How can I help? Donate and spread the word!
Every set of eyes we can get on this helps us get that much closer to getting our building in place ASAP!
From all of us here, feathered, furry and human, we thank you!
Note: Any funds raised above our goal will be used towards the many additional costs of the upcoming baby season including food, medical treatment, other items from our Amazon Wishlist and veterinary services.
